Resistive load bank testing for diesel generator sets up to 2,000 kVA, used to prove a set actually carries its rating rather than just starting. Typical jobs are commissioning tests, annual proving tests for standby sets, post-repair verification, and pre-sale tests where a buyer wants evidence of output. The test is stepped through 25, 50, 75 and 100 percent of rated load with readings of voltage, frequency, current and power factor at each step, plus checks for exhaust temperature, coolant temperature, oil pressure and fuel consumption. You receive a printed test sheet with the readings and any derating noted. Can be combined with an inspection visit. Available across the UAE; the load bank is mobilised from Sharjah.
